3Mï Composite Film Electrical Tape 44 is a general-use, tan, 5.25-mil (0.133 mm) thick tape composed of a polyester film/nonwoven composite reinforced backing coated on one side with a thermosetting rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive. ï Commonly used in applications such as stick-wound coil/transformer and in bobbin-wound coils for banding, anchoring and insulating ï Commonly used in protecting start wires, leads, terminal strips, insulating paper, end turns and connections in motors and transformers ï Adhesive requires no heat, moisture or other manner of preparation to affect application ï Designed for continuous operation not exceeding 130C (266F) per UL and CSA listings
